The Blackout beta, which will show off Black Ops 4's new "battle royale experience" launches in September for PlayStation 4. Also featured in the multiplayer beta is the Pick 10 system, Special Issue Equipment, the Gear slot, and an all-new class of weapon attachments called Operator Mods. Participation in the Black Ops 4 beta comes with a reward for players: a unique, displayable "calling card." Reach max rank in the beta and players will earn a Permanent Unlock Token. In Control, teams take turns attacking and defending static objectives each round. A new objective-based mode called Control will also debut. It will feature six maps, two of which have never been seen before, as well as familiar game modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Search & Destroy. The private multiplayer beta begins on August 3rd for PlayStation 4 and then Xbox One and PC the following weekend.
